I know how you feel about the pastels. I really like the bright blues because you can do so much with it. Baby things now and then big boy stuff later. We are painting Tristan's room a similar color. I wanted a bright almost cartoon color as I plan to put posters of his favorite super heroes on the walls - Spiderman, Superman, Scooby Doo etc. The bright blue compliments the bright colors in the posters. Later when he's older, we can change up the pictures. We chose a Disney color from Home Depot but I can't remember the exact name right now. The sample in out in the truck right now. That's my take!
These are the colors I'm debating over for the nursery- feel free to voice an opinion.
