My Crotchety Old Man

Yesterday Josh and I were driving and there was an interview on the radio about a guy whose wife had died. So I asked Josh what he would do if I died.

He didn't even have to think about it.

"I would move to the Hood River Valley and work in an orchard. I'd become a recluse."

"What about Jonah?" I ask.

"Yeah, that would kind of stink for him."

Silence.

"Maybe I'd become a missionary someplace far away. He could come."

It's nice to feel loved, but I think I better not die.

Aww! That's so sweet! ...in a morbid sort of way. :)

You forgot about the part where I would shoot at people who came to visit me. Not family, I guess.
